Market Overview: Mortgage rates moved slightly higher today, continuing a mild upward trend seen throughout the week. The 30-year fixed average increased by six basis points to 6.33%, while most other loan types followed with modest gains. Despite these upticks, rates remain comfortably below the highs seen last year, supported by easing inflation and a relatively steady bond market. The broader market continues to show cautious optimism. While inflation data has improved, investors are hesitant to make large moves ahead of upcoming economic reports and potential Federal Reserve commentary.
