Welcome back to The STR Report’s Weekend Digest — your go-to scroll for real stories from real investors.

Today we’re hearing from another real investor and how investing in short-term rentals changed their life for the better.

Real people. Real properties. Real wins. ↓

Michelle and I were introduced to the short-term real estate investment community through our friends who had experience in the space. We were introduced to a great team that helped us with our first STR property in Arizona, and it was a really interesting and educational experience. It brought us into the world of real estate investing and was really a high intensity short course in everything real estate. It was an amazing educational experience and we are currently doing a second property in North Carolina.

Short term real estate investing works really well for us to try to achieve true asset diversification. We feel much better knowing that our investments are spread between really different asset classes and adds real estate to the equation. It brings challenges but it also brings great opportunities to work with a great team of property managers, project managers, construction managers, and amazing designers. A lot of our team for the second investment is the same from our original team and we are enjoying meeting with new members as well on our new project.
